Antique Wapak Cast Iron Skillet #7 - Bottom Heat Ring - Double Pour Spout Fry Pan, 101A, 8 Inch. Ghost - Name Blocked Out Under Wapak In Casting On The Bottom. Started manufacturing cast iron from 1903 to 1926 in Wapakoneta, Ohio WI. This vintage cast iron pan was fully restored and this included. Striped the skillet down to bare metal using a lye bath.

All rust was removed using electrolysis. Seasoning - Five layers of flax seed oil were applied and baked on after each coat. This forms a natural, easy-release cooking surface and helps prevent the pan from rusting. Pan - Diameter is 10, length 15, Deep 2 3/8.

Flat bottom surface, it does not spin. Logo on the Bottom, Wapak Z Logo 1903 to 1926, #7, 101A. The inside cooking surface is very smooth, some scratching which is normal for a skillet of this age. The bottom of the pan has a ghost mark below the the Wapak name.
